Wisdom Manor Apartments is a 30-home affordable senior housing community in New Orleans that provides safe, stable housing for low-income older adults through a project-based Housing Choice Voucher contract. The community supports seniors by offering long-term affordability in a comfortable residential setting that promotes independence and quality of life.

Originally developed by another organization in the years following Hurricane Katrina, the property became part of RNDC’s portfolio in July 2013 when RNDC acquired the managing member interest. Since then, RNDC has remained committed to preserving the community as a long-term affordable housing resource for New Orleans seniors.

The development was financed through Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). Wisdom Manor Apartments reflects RNDC’s commitment not only to developing new housing communities, but also to preserving existing affordable housing that continues to meet the needs of Louisiana’s aging population.
