The Terraces on Tulane

The Terraces on Tulane is a 200-home affordable senior housing community in New Orleans that provides safe, stable, and supportive housing for older adults. The community includes a project-based Housing Choice Voucher contract, helping ensure long-term affordability for low-income seniors while allowing them to age with dignity and independence.

As part of Volunteers of America Southeast Louisiana’s Aging with Options program, The Terraces on Tulane offers more than housing. Residents have access to supportive services, wellness resources, and community engagement opportunities that promote healthy aging, independence, and an enhanced quality of life.

The development was financed through a combination of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding. The Terraces on Tulane reflects RNDC’s commitment to developing high quality housing communities that integrate affordable housing with services designed to help older adults remain active, connected, and independent.
