Celeste Landing is a 46-home affordable housing community located in the Lower Garden District of New Orleans. Developed and owned in partnership with Atrium Housing, the project combines the historic renovation of an existing building with a thoughtfully designed new addition, preserving the character of the neighborhood while expanding access to quality affordable housing.

Situated within a high-income census tract, Celeste Landing creates affordable housing opportunities in an area with strong access to employment, public transportation, healthcare, education, and neighborhood amenities. The development reflects RNDC’s commitment to increasing housing choice in opportunity-rich communities where residents can thrive.

The development was financed through a combination of 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), Historic Tax Credits, and funding from the City of New Orleans. Celeste Landing demonstrates RNDC’s continued focus on historic preservation, strategic partnerships, and the creation of high-quality affordable housing in some of the region’s most desirable neighborhoods.
